School Occupational Therapist - Mundelein, Illinois

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in grades 3-5 as an Occupational Therapist in an intermediate school building. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering essential services from early September through mid-June, working alongside educators and families to enhance student success and participation.

Key Details:

• Schedule: 8:05 am to 2:45 pm, 2 to 3 days per week (either two full days or more days with flexible, shorter shifts)
• Contract Duration: September 8, 2026 – June 16, 2027
• Setting: Single building, grades 3-5; manageable caseload of about 25 students

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois
• Experience in school-based settings preferred, particularly with elementary grades
• Strong consulting and direct service skills for fine motor and sensory needs
• Ability to collaborate with staff and support IEP goals

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide consultative and direct OT services to students, focusing on fine motor and sensory interventions
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support student progress
• Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with educational objectives
• Document services, maintain reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Deliver creative, engaging therapy while managing a dedicated caseload in a supportive school community
