School Psychologist in Tracy, CA

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist credential required
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and implementing interventions
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, eligibility criteria, and educational law
• Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration abilities
• Previous experience in schools or with diverse student populations strongly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments for students referred for special education services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community resources to support student needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and direct services to students to address emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges
• Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and problem-solving teams
• Deliver crisis intervention, risk assessments, and short-term support when needed
• Guide and support teachers with classroom and behavioral management strategies
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all regulations
