In this contract position, you’ll partner with established professionals on a welcoming team. You’ll play a key role in conducting psychological evaluations and reevaluations, providing crucial support through the MTSS process, and ensuring best practices in special education eligibility. Your work will touch the lives of students and families while also supporting your colleagues in delivering excellent educational services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
- Valid state certification/licensure in School Psychology
- Previous experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing IEPs
- Strong knowledge of MTSS frameworks and special education law
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to interpret data and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
- Flexibility to adapt to variable caseloads and schedules
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and reevaluation assessments for students
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of MTSS interventions
- Participate in IEP and evaluation meetings
- Interpret and share assessment results with diverse audiences
- Consult with teachers, specialists, and families to support student needs
- Complete all evaluation documentation professionally and in compliance with regulations
