Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-8 students in a dynamic elementary school setting, conveniently located near Piedmont, SC. The position runs from August 10 through June 4, offering a consistent part-time schedule of 22.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with hours from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. With a manageable caseload of 45-60, you’ll be making a meaningful impact through onsite, in-person service.
Your expertise as an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is essential. You’ll be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy to a diverse student population, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and support staff. Desired Background:
- Holds a valid Speech-Language Pathology license and active CCC certification
- Previous experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred
- Passion for supporting diverse learners in the K-8 age range
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented school setting
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Must be available for onsite work; teletherapy is not an option for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
- Maintain timely documentation and progress records
