Step into a pivotal clerical role supporting the Medi-Cal process for a busy educational setting near Indio, CA. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in Medi-Cal procedures, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. Starting at the beginning of September (pending board approval), you will collaborate closely with special education staff and district personnel throughout the school year, working 40 hours per week through the end of June.

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience managing and processing Medi-Cal requests in an educational or healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of Medicaid/Medi-Cal processes and time survey requirements
  • Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Bilingual Spanish speaker highly preferred
  • No special licenses or certifications required, but keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills are a must

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, monitor, and process random time surveys from Medicaid as they are received
  • Verify submission accuracy and timeliness with special education staff and district personnel
  • Ensure compliance with Medi-Cal procedures and documentation requirements
  • Coordinate and participate in monthly meetings with Medi-Cal representatives to review timekeeping and procedural compliance
  • Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support as needed
