Position Details

• Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive endocrinology care to Veterans in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
  • Engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows from the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
  • Participate in scholarly activities; maintain American Heart Association BLS certification and adhere to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Endocrinology (ABIM)
• Possess a current, valid, and unrestricted medical license (U.S. citizens may be considered per VA guidelines)
• Completion of Residency Training in the United States

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: Competitive range of $245,000 - $275,000 per year, with eligibility for an annual performance bonus and regular salary increases.
• Recruitment Incentives: A sign-on bonus may be available for highly qualified candidates.
• Paid Time Off: Generous allocation of 50-55 days per year, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 sick days, 11 federal holidays, and CME.
