Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - San Jose, CA

Step confidently into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant San Jose area, working across primary and secondary school environments. Multiple positions are available beginning early August 2026—each designed to offer impactful, hands-on experience with no virtual obligations.

Three distinct openings are on offer:

• One SLP to provide part-time support at local elementary schools, balancing between general education, preschool, and moderate service needs. You’ll supplement the existing teams to address assessment and caseload overloads, working at different sites each day but maintaining a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. This assignment is expected to continue until an internal hire is made.

• Two additional SLPs are sought from the start of the school year through mid-to-late September, assisting either at a middle school or high school with general education caseloads ranging from 40 to 50 students. These roles offer a full-time schedule (approximately 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, subject to minor variation).

Desired Credentials & Experience:

• Valid SLP licensure preferred, but not strictly required by the district.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, ideally in educational settings.
• Competence in assessment, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Adaptability to work in varied school environments, embracing new challenges each day.
