Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade as a skilled Occupational Therapist in an educational environment near Federal Way, WA. This contract spans the full academic year, beginning September 2, 2026, and concluding June 17, 2027, offering you the unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of diverse learners across a variety of age groups.

In this role, you’ll manage a caseload requiring up to 950 direct service minutes per week. Most workdays start at 8:00 a.m. and typically end by 3:30 p.m.; however, start and end times may vary depending on school assignments and meeting schedules. Expect to work approximately 37.5 hours weekly, not exceeding 40 hours.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain by start date)
  • Demonstrated experience or practicum in school-based OT services
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and collaborative consultation
  • Ability to address sensory, fine motor, gross motor, and educational access needs
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Adaptability with varying schedules and school locations throughout the week
  • Commitment to supporting a full PreK–12th grade population

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Administer assessments to determine students’ needs and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
  • Attend meetings and professional development as required by the district
