VIP Staffing is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for a company in Albuquerque, NM
This is a Full Time Temp to hire position with a Monday-Friday day shift schedule
Pay for this position is $28-$30 per hour DOE
We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in PLCs and servo drives, alongside general building maintenance capabilities. Core Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical assemblies and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults on production equipment.
- Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs and servo drive systems.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on machinery and plant facilities.
- Execute general building maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, lighting, and structural repairs.
- Maintain accurate logs of all repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
- Comply with all safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience as a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician.
- Strong proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and pneumatic diagrams.
- Direct, hands-on experience troubleshooting PLCs and servo drives.
- Solid understanding of mechanical power transmission and electronic control systems.
- Experience with general facility and building upkeep.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or kneel for extended periods.
