Job Description
The Department of Pediatric Endocrinology is actively seeking a Pediatric Endocrinologist to enhance clinical services in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania region. This opportunity is available through our organization, which includes UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care in pediatric endocrinology.
- Collaborate with local providers under the guidance of the division chief and clinical director.
- Integrate best practices and clinical research from our main facility.
- Completion of a Pediatric Fellowship training program.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology.
UPMC Children's Harrisburg is a newly renovated pediatric care facility situated within UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. Key features include:
- An 11-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and a general pediatric unit.
- A state-of-the-art Women's and Babies Center along with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Access to 18 pediatric subspecialties, including but not limited to Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, and Surgery, serving patients across nine counties.
