\nCome join us at Carmel Manor! We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm for over 70 years. Our mission is to treat all staff and residents with love and respect.
\nWe are seeking to hire a Porter - Part-Time.

- $14.50 per hour. \n
- 3pm to 9pm; Monday - Friday. \n
Porter Qualifications:
\n- \n
- High School diploma or equivalent. \n
- Retirees encouraged to apply. \n
- One (1) year experience performing industrial or hotel cleaning or equivalent, preferably in a hospital or nursing home environment. \n
- Must be able to speak, read, write English. \n
Porter Working Conditions:
\n- \n
- Bending, standing, sitting, and moving intermittently during working hours. \n
- Must assist in the evacuation of residents. Subject to long periods of standing. \n
- Must be able to lift laundry, furniture, equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of twenty five (50) pounds. \n
Porter Job Summary:
\n- \n
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets. \n
- Strip and refinish floor surfaces. \n
- Dispose of refuse and trash in accordance with established sanitation procedures. \n
- Clean floors and stairwells to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping. \n
- Set-up for special events, moving furniture and fixtures. \n
- Transport linen from all floors to laundry facilities. \n
- Operate pressure cleaning equipment. \n
