Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide advanced wound care, dressing changes, and pressure injury prevention interventions.

• Monitor wound healing progress and adjust care plans as needed.

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.

• Educate patients and families on wound care and prevention strategies.

• Document patient assessments and treatments accurately using Cerner EMR.

• Prioritize patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care environment.

• Implement physician orders accurately and within appropriate timeframes.

• Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards and hospital policies.

• Active Illinois RN License

• BLS Certification

• Minimum 2 years of acute wound care experience

• Experience with Cerner EMR

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care setting

• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations required (declinations will not be approved)
