Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care
Job Description
Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide advanced wound care, dressing changes, and pressure injury prevention interventions.
Monitor wound healing progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and families on wound care and prevention strategies.
Document patient assessments and treatments accurately using Cerner EMR.
Prioritize patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care environment.
Implement physician orders accurately and within appropriate timeframes.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards and hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
Active Illinois RN License
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of acute wound care experience
Experience with Cerner EMR
Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care setting
COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations required (declinations will not be approved)
