Leasing & Administrative Assistant

Location: Akron, OH Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday Pay: $19/hour

A growing residential property management company in Northeast Ohio is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Leasing & Administrative Assistant to support apartment leasing operations and daily office administration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong organizational skills, and is comfortable handling both administrative duties and resident interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support leasing staff and property management teams with day-to-day operations.
  • Track phone inquiries and office traffic to assist with reporting and market analysis.
  • Process applications, including credit checks and income verification, while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Complete leasing documentation and data entry accurately.
  • Assist with lease preparation, execution, and collection of initial deposits and rent payments.
  • Coordinate with new residents to ensure a smooth move-in experience.
  • Maintain organized resident files and records.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and service requests, creating work orders as needed.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors in a professional manner.
  • Assist with collections-related activities, including follow-up calls and resident communications.
  • Support the property management team with additional administrative tasks and special projects.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, customer service, or office support role.
  • Previous leasing, property management, sales, or customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport with prospective and current residents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
