Journeyman Pipefitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Pipefitters for projects located in or around Midland, MI. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $38/hour based on experience plus $130/per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Licensed Journeyman Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

\n
• Replace and install new pipe, valves, brackets, and supports
\n
• Cut, bevel, and thread pipe according to project specifications
\n
• Work in an active chemical plant environment during a shutdown
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Must have previous pipefitting experience
\n
• Must have experience cutting, beveling, and threading pipe
\n
• Must have a full set of tools including crescent wrenches, pipe wrenches, socket set up to 1", level, plumb bob, grinder, harness & lanyard (“dog leash”)
