\nWe are seeking a full-time or part-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our expanding outpatient Neurosurgery practice in Syracuse, New York.

As part of Upstate University Health System, our academic neurosurgery practice provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of neurosurgical specialties. Our APPs are integral members of the care team and enjoy close collaboration with faculty neurosurgeons while practicing at the top of their license. This position offers the unique opportunity to combine outstanding patient care with the educational and professional advantages of working in an academic medical center.
\nMinimum qualifications: NYS licensed/registered PA required. Must have NPI number and be Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) or be eligible for Medicare enrollment (eligibility criteria for NP requires National Certification through AANP or ANCC, and master's degree) (eligibility criteria for PA requires graduation from an accredited PA program and National Certification through NCCPA). Initial certification must be present at hire. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
\nGenerous bonus and benefits package available. Our benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, eligibility for employer-funded 401(k) contributions of up to 8% after one year of employment (3% quarterly employer contribution plus up to an additional 5% annual employer contribution, subject to the vesting schedule). Tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, including vacation and personal time, paid sick leave, holidays and floating holidays.
\nL5-L6: $99,000 - $165,000 Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. The salary range depicted is based on full-time, 1.0 FTE and would be prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE.
