About the Practice
\nMedical Scanning Consultants, PA provides professional radiology services for RAYUS Radiology, one of the nation's leading providers of outpatient diagnostic imaging.
\nOur continued growth has created abundant outpatient imaging volume supported by an established referral network and favorable payer mix. New physicians can quickly build a productive practice with a steady stream of high-quality cases.
\nMore importantly, we believe great radiology groups are built on relationships—not simply productivity metrics. Our teleradiologists are valued members of our physician team, not anonymous readers assigned to a worklist. We prioritize collaboration, communication, and long-term professional satisfaction.
\nPosition Highlights
\nThis is a fully remote outpatient radiology position focused on high-quality diagnostic imaging.
\nRadiologists read primarily—and often exclusively—within their fellowship-trained subspecialty.
\nCurrent areas of greatest need include:
\n- \n
- Body Imaging \n
- Neuroradiology \n
- Musculoskeletal Imaging \n
- Spine Imaging \n
Additional opportunities may be available for physicians interested in:
\n- \n
- PET/CT \n
- Nuclear Medicine \n
- Mammography \n
Participation in these areas is entirely optional.
\nWhat You'll Read
\nDepending on your subspecialty, your daily work may include:
\nBody Imaging
\n- \n
- CT \n
- MRI \n

Neuroradiology / Spine
\n- \n
- MRI \n
- CT \n
- Radiography \n
Typical daily volume ranges from approximately 50–100 outpatient studies depending on modality mix, reading style, and physician preference.
\nBecause nearly all studies originate from outpatient imaging centers, the case mix is predictable, efficient, and optimized for workflow.
\nFlexibility That Fits Your Life
\nUnlike many teleradiology positions, this role is designed to provide physicians with meaningful flexibility.
\nThere are:
\n- \n
- No emergency department interruptions \n
- No hospital dashboards \n
- No inpatient responsibilities \n
- No mandatory call schedule \n
As long as quality standards and turnaround expectations are met, physicians have significant control over their daily workflow and schedule.
\nVacation scheduling is equally flexible through collaborative team coverage.
\nCompensation
\nWe recognize that every physician values compensation differently, which is why we offer multiple employment options.
\nAvailable structures include:
\n- \n
- 1099 Independent Contractor (per wRVU) \n
- W-2 Employment \n
- Pay-per-Click \n
- Percentage of Collections \n
- Base Salary plus Productivity Bonus \n
Experienced, high-producing radiologists have the opportunity to earn $1,000,000+ annually.

\nSuccessful candidates are:
\n- \n
- Patient-centered \n
- Efficient without sacrificing quality \n
- Dependable and responsive \n
- Collegial team members \n
- Strong communicators with referring providers \n
We value radiologists who understand that every study represents a patient—not simply another case on a worklist.
\nIf you're looking for the freedom of remote practice while remaining connected to a supportive physician group, you'll find an excellent long-term home here.
