Pipe Welder
\nAlliance Mechanical Solutions (AMS) is seeking experienced Pipe Welders to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive shipyard experience and be proficient in welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper nickel piping systems in accordance with shipyard specifications and industry standards. Candidates must be able to read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and isometric drawings while producing high-quality welds in a safe and efficient manner. A strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork is essential.
\nJob Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of shipyard experience as a Pipe Welder \n
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding specifications \n
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident authorized to work in the United States \n
- Must successfully pass the following hands-on welding performance tests: \n
- \n
- 6G carbon steel pipe test: TIG root and hot pass with Flux Core fill and cap on 2-inch carbon steel pipe \n
- TIG Copper Nickel pipe welding test \n
\n - Must pass a physical examination, drug screening, and respirator fit test \n
- Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions while wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) \n
Housing Option: Company-paid lodging is available for employees who require housing. Employees who choose this option will receive $25.00 per hour plus $150.00 per diem.
