Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Prior experience working in a K-12 school setting highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized student plans
  • Collaborative mindset and flexibility working with diverse teams
  • Competence in documentation and case management software

Responsibilities:

  • Screen, assess, and evaluate students referred for OT services
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff on classroom adaptations
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Consult with families and caregivers to support carryover of strategies
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to documentation and goal-setting
  • Maintain accurate records and remain compliant with state and district policies
