Job Description
Empower students and make an impact in a dynamic educational setting as an Occupational Therapist supporting schools in the Morton, PA area. This contract position offers diverse opportunities to use your expertise in both early intervention and school-age programs.
You’ll be working 3 to 5 days per week with two unique caseloads: one focused on providing full-time OT services in the community with early intervention clients, and another delivering support to students in an Emotional Support classroom setting. Your commitment will help students develop the skills they need to thrive academically and socially.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active OT licensure in Pennsylvania
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions and documentation for early childhood and school-age populations
- Compassion, flexibility, and a passion for helping students of varying abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions for early intervention clients and school-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Support skill development in areas such as fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to school guidelines
