School-Based Physical Therapist - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This contract position offers the opportunity to work as a Physical Therapist with both early intervention and school-age students in a collaborative setting near Philadelphia, PA. With a schedule spanning 4 to 5 days per week, you’ll provide critical therapy services in established classroom programs, enhancing the lives of children at key developmental stages.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid and current Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in school or early intervention settings
• Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with educators and families
• Compassion, adaptability, and a student-centered approach to therapy practice

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students in both early intervention (Aston) and low incidence school-age programs (Broomall)
• Design and execute therapy plans that are tailored to each student’s abilities and education goals
• Serve as a resource for teachers and support staff, offering strategies for classroom integration
• Maintain accurate, timely records for all therapy activities and student outcomes
• Partner closely with families to support generalization of skills across settings
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
