Job Opportunity: Body or Neuroradiologist

Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent healthcare facility in New York City, is looking for a full-time Body or Neuroradiologist. This facility is a 545-bed tertiary care center and an ACS-verified level 1 trauma center located in the culturally rich borough of Queens, NY. Our radiology team consists of a dedicated and friendly group of radiologists, technologists, nurses, and support staff.

The radiology department is equipped with:

• 4 CT scanners
• 1 MRI machine
• A new Siemens biplane interventional suite, part of our innovative stroke program

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of this role include:

• Interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, focusing on cross-sectional imaging such as CT, ultrasound, and MRI.
• Working daytime shifts from Monday to Friday.
• Participating in minimal on-call duties, which involve several weekend shifts throughout the year.
• Engaging in moonlighting opportunities during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess:

• A medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Radiology.
• A valid New York State medical license, DEA registration, and Medicaid number.
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork within a health system.
