Radiology, Remote Evening Neuroradiologist
Job Description
Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent healthcare facility in New York City, is looking for a full-time Body or Neuroradiologist. This facility is a 545-bed tertiary care center and an ACS-verified level 1 trauma center located in the culturally rich borough of Queens, NY. Our radiology team consists of a dedicated and friendly group of radiologists, technologists, nurses, and support staff.
The radiology department is equipped with:
- 4 CT scanners
- 1 MRI machine
- A new Siemens biplane interventional suite, part of our innovative stroke program
The primary duties of this role include:
- Interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, focusing on cross-sectional imaging such as CT, ultrasound, and MRI.
- Working daytime shifts from Monday to Friday.
- Participating in minimal on-call duties, which involve several weekend shifts throughout the year.
- Engaging in moonlighting opportunities during evenings and weekends.
Our department boasts a low turnover rate, with many radiologists choosing to remain at our facility for decades. We offer flexible hybrid work options, allowing for both remote and onsite work. QualificationsIdeal candidates should possess:
- A medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Radiology.
- A valid New York State medical license, DEA registration, and Medicaid number.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork within a health system.
We also provide a faculty appointment with our affiliated medical school, which will be based on your credentials, experience, and qualifications.
