The Department of Pathology and Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) invites applications for a faculty position in the division of Anatomic Pathology with preferred fellowship in Cytopathology. You will be part of a rapidly growing academic subspecialty-based practice, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

- The laboratory processes approximately 18,000 cervicovaginal specimens, 6,000 non-gynecologic specimens, and 2,500 EBUS and RAD lung cases consisting of 50% ROSE annually \n

The ideal candidate will be an MD/DO, MD/PhD, PhD (or equivalent) who is certified or eligible for certification in AP or AP/CP by the American Board of Pathology. Fellowship training in cytopathology is preferred. The candidate should possess strong diagnostic skills in cytopathology and will have the opportunity to participate in rapid on-site evaluation as well as ultrasound-guided superficial fine needle aspiration procedures.
