Education/Experience
\nMinimum Required:

- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma. \n
Preferred:
\n- \n
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). \n
- Working knowledge of encoding system and Excel. \n
- Previous Coding experience. \n
License/Certification
\nMinimum Required:

- Valid NYS RN licensure or eligible. \n
Preferred:

- CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) ‐ AHIMA \n
- CIC (Certified Inpatient Coder)‐AAPC \n
- CCDS (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist)‐ACDIS \n
