Ascend Staffing is hiring an experienced Safety Director for a well-established manufacturing facility in Chehalis, WA. This is a great opportunity for a safety-focused professional who enjoys creating a safe workplace, improving processes, and supporting employees in an industrial environment.

Safety Director Responsibilities:

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the facility
Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety programs and procedures
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and workplace observations
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
Investigate workplace incidents and assist with prevention strategies
Provide safety training and guidance to employees and leadership
Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation
Communicate safety expectations clearly with all levels of employees and management
Support continuous improvement efforts related to workplace safety

Requirements:

Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial safety environment
Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to identify safety concerns and provide effective solutions
Experience developing and maintaining safety documentation and programs
