Locums Psychiatry Physician in Muscle Shoals, Alabama - Weekday Schedule

Provide inpatient psychiatric care with a Monday through Friday schedule while working alongside residents in an acute behavioral health setting. Optional backup call is available.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient acute psychiatric unit
• Care for assigned and unassigned adult patients
• Average census of 12 patients with approximately 3 admissions per shift
• Resident supervision is part of the practice model

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Full-time clinical coverage
• Optional second-call backup with low callback volume
• Long-term assignment

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active Alabama medical license required
• DEA required

• Travel accommodations arranged according to assignment guidelines
