We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Coordinator / Project Engineer to support large-scale capital projects by managing engineering documentation, project tracking, and coordination activities across multiple stakeholders.

This role serves as a key connection point between Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Accounting, Project Controls, and Document Control teams. The ideal candidate enjoys creating structure, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring project information flows efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update Master Document Registers (MDRs) for engineering projects
  • Track planned and actual engineering deliverables including drawings, specifications, datasheets, and vendor documentation
  • Organize technical documentation within document management systems and SharePoint environments
  • Coordinate documentation packages for engineering contractors, consultants, and equipment suppliers
  • Monitor engineering deliverables, schedules, and status updates from external partners
  • Track engineering budgets, invoices, expenses, and timesheets
  • Develop project trackers, dashboards, and weekly status reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely project information
  • Support process improvement and organizational initiatives that improve project execution

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience supporting engineering, construction, industrial, infrastructure, energy, mining, or EPC projects
  • Experience coordinating engineering deliverables and technical documentation
  • Understanding of engineering documents such as drawings, specifications, datasheets, and vendor packages
  • Familiarity with document control and document management processes
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including trackers, reporting, and dashboards
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Technical Studies, or a related field
  • Experience supporting EPC, industrial, energy, mining, power generation, or large capital projects
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Docs, Aconex, ProjectWise, Procore, or similar document management platforms
  • Experience creating processes, workflows, and tracking systems
