Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A community pharmacy is urgently seeking a skilled pharmacist for vacation coverage from Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14. This per diem opportunity involves working in a community center pharmacy environment located in Cottonwood, CA, with a focus on providing excellent pharmacy services and collaborating closely with healthcare providers.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and accurate medication dispensing
- Collaborate with center providers to optimize patient care in a retail pharmacy setting
- Utilize the New Leaf system; training is available for qualified candidates
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and safety standards while delivering quality care
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Recent retail pharmacy experience
- Valid California pharmacist license
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise technician staff
- Ability to adapt to new pharmacy software and processes
