We’re seeking a compassionate, skilled RN or LPN for leave coverage from August 24 through September 28. This contract role offers a unique 1:1 support opportunity, focusing on individualized care and safety during the school day.

In addition to dedicated one-on-one caregiving, you’ll appreciate the security of guaranteed hours, even if your assigned student is absent. Your knowledge, empathy, and adaptability will be crucial to ensuring the well-being and inclusion of a student who needs you most.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active LPN or RN license in Wisconsin
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing strongly preferred
• Familiarity with care for medically fragile or special needs students
• Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergencies
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to the duration of the assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and monitoring for the assigned student during school hours
• Administer medications, manage medical equipment, and oversee daily health needs
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain meticulous health records and incident documentation
• Support student participation and safety in the classroom
