Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health
- Prior experience in a school-based setting or providing pediatric services is a strong asset
- Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and travel between district campuses
- Up-to-date fingerprint clearance in compliance with Florida and AHCA Clearinghouse standards, or willingness to complete requirements
- Strong communication and organization skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and IEP teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, direct therapy, and consultative services to students requiring physical therapy support across all grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with district and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional expertise to support student goals
- Collaborate with school staff and families to foster inclusive educational environments
