Part-Time School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Rifle, Colorado

We're seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school district in Rifle, Colorado for the entire school year. This contracted, part-time opportunity is ideal for an OT who enjoys working with a diverse student population and making a meaningful impact in a school setting.

Position Details

• Position: Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Location: Rifle, CO
• Schedule: 20 hours per week
• Contract: Full school year
• Student Population: Students of all ages (PreK–12)

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider/Teaching License required
• Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and provide direct therapy services to students across all grade levels.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning through evidence-based occupational therapy services.
