Phlebotomist

Full time and Part time schedules available on all shifts

Responsibilities:\n

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
\n Performs venipunctures, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.

Qualifications:\n

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
\n High School graduate or GED

\n

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
\n Entry Level

\n

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
\n None

\n

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
\n One (1) year of experience as a phlebotomist preferred
\n Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency is preferred.
\n Basic knowledge of venipuncture/phlebotomy is preferred.
\n Experience working in a hospital preferred.
