Title: Project Manager / Manufacturing Manager

Location: Whitsett, NC 27377

Shift: 2nd shift

Position Summary

  • Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead high-volume server/electronics manufacturing operations.
  • This role will drive operational excellence across production, quality, safety, cost, delivery, and workforce development while supporting business goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple production lines.
  • Manage and develop Production Supervisors, Line Leads, and manufacturing teams.
  • Drive performance improvements using KPIs focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People.
  • Develop workforce plans, support hiring initiatives, and build frontline leadership capabilities.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
  • Support production planning, capacity management, new product introductions, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume production environment.
  • 3+ years of experience managing supervisors and large production teams.
  • Experience in electronics, technology, server, or PC manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, quality systems, and workforce management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with SAP, ERP, MES, or WMS systems.
  • Proven success leading manufacturing ramp-ups and process improvements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive operational results.
