Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Finke Equipment is seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in Selkirk, NY. This position involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of heavy equipment while providing outstanding service to our customers. Our technicians work on Bobcat, Kobelco, Bomag, and many other types of construction and compact equipment. No two days are the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working with a variety of machines. You'll work in a modern, well-equipped shop featuring radiant floor heat, two overhead cranes, and company-provided diagnostic tools to help you work safely and efficiently. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance. Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Use diagnostic equipment and testing tools to identify equipment issues. Complete accurate service reports and documentation on a daily basis. Communicate effectively with customers, service advisors, and management. Work closely with manufacturer technical support teams when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Help ensure every customer receives a positive service experience.
