Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Location: San Antonio, TX 78223
Pay: $28.00$31.00 per hour (DOE)
Shift: 3rd Shift | MondayFriday | 11:00 PM 7:30 AM
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to support our manufacturing operations in San Antonio. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, facility systems, and building infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair production equipment and machinery.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Diagnose equipment failures and minimize downtime.
Read schematics, technical manuals, and work orders.
Support facility and building maintenance as needed.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Work with production teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Assist with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of motors, drives, and industrial equipment.
Ability to read technical drawings and equipment documentation.
PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
Technical training or education in Industrial Maintenance or a related field preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in an industrial environment.
Ability to lift tools, equipment, and replacement parts as needed.
Comfortable working around machinery and manufacturing equipment.
