Client is seeking a Highway Engineer - Transportation Design

Responsibilities:

  • Design roadway, drainage, and traffic improvements for highway-related projects

  • Perform engineering calculations, quantity calculations, cost estimates, and CADD design/drafting

  • Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and our clients to ensure all aspects of the design are consistent

  • Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for contract bidding

  • Become well-versed with PennDOT Design Manuals and Standards

  • Perform field views and participate in meetings

Qualifications:

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in the design of transportation projects

  • BS Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited University is required

  • EIT Certification preferred

  • CADD experience a plus; MicroStation preferred
