Responsibilities

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, patient-centered perioperative care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care throughout the surgical process while working closely with the interdisciplinary team.

  • Administer perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to any clinical changes.
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise and assist OR Technicians and other support staff.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and unit projects.
  • Facilitate efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality care.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

  • Valid and current state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire, with maintenance required.
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire, with maintenance required.
  • Current PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire, with maintenance required.
  • At least one year of prior perioperative experience or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay Transparency

We offer competitive compensation, with an estimated hourly rate ranging from $37.00 to $51.28. The specific starting salary will be determined based on various factors, including skills, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
