Qualifications:
- Proof of high school diploma required (para certifications or higher education not necessary)
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Ability to adapt between supporting individual students and classroom groups
- Strong communication and reliability
- 3 completed professional references, including your most recent manager, submitted before interviewing
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily classroom instruction and activities
- Provide academic and behavioral support to students in both 1:1 and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other paraprofessionals to maintain a positive classroom climate
- Encourage student participation and independence
- Contribute to record-keeping and reporting as required by supervising educators
Additional Details:
- Positions run from September 1, 2026, through June 16, 2027
- School hours: Middle School 7:10am–2:10pm; High School 7:30am–2:30pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Weekly schedule: 32.5 hours, aligning with each school’s daily routine
