Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth as a school psychologist in a welcoming educational community near Osseo, MN. This contract position offers a focused part-time schedule of 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from August 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027. You’ll work onsite at a school within the district, collaborating with staff, students, and families to promote learning and well-being.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist License (required; must be submitted with resume)
- Experience in a K-12 setting, with strong knowledge of special education evaluation and intervention
- Effective communicator across diverse teams including students, families, and educators
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Expertise in developing and implementing intervention strategies
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Flexibility; open to working in-person at the school site as assigned
- Client may also consider a licensed School Social Worker for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect psychological services to students
- Administer assessments, interpret results, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create educational and behavioral plans
- Support staff and families in understanding students’ needs and strengths
- Consult with teachers regarding best practices for classroom interventions
- Participate in the design and delivery of staff professional development when needed
