GI Job in Eastern Virginia (Two Hospitals)

Our organization is in search of a Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Coverage will be shared among several locum providers.
• ERCP skills are required; EUS experience is preferred.
• Coverage dates are from June 2 to June 8.
• The hospitals are interconnected, and the physician will alternate between them.
• 24-hour inpatient emergency room call coverage is necessary.
• Comfort with covering call for both facilities is essential, as they are located adjacent to each other.
• Electronic Medical Records system used: Meditech.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
• Experience with ERCP; EUS is a plus.
• Availability for the specified dates.
• Ability to manage call responsibilities at both hospitals.
