We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Counter Representative to join our retail team. This part-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping customers, and takes pride in maintaining a professional and organized workspace. You’ll be the face of the sales counter: assisting customers, processing transactions, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and recommend products.
- Transaction Processing: Handle POS transactions accurately, including cash and card payments.
- Product Knowledge: Develop expertise in product features, benefits, and availability.
- Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to enhance customer purchases.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and restock as needed.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales counter clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform stocking tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for transaction accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
