Registered Nurse School Setting - Malden, MA

Take your nursing expertise into the heart of education with an engaging contract opportunity supporting students across K-12 grade levels. Starting in August and running through mid-June, this full-time position allows you to make a direct impact, offering care and support to students in a dynamic, onsite floater nurse capacity.

Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (8 AM–4 PM, 40 hours per week), with your responsibilities focused on commuting between nearby campuses—each within just a few miles. Your presence will help ensure all school sites are well-covered, making a critical difference for students and staff throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts RN or LPN license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is essential
• Comfortable traveling between multiple campuses (the farthest only 6 miles away)
• Reliable transportation necessary to meet travel needs
• Willingness to complete fingerprinting and CORI background checks
• Must be able to commit to the specified full-time, onsite schedule
• Experience with K-12 populations is highly desirable

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and triage for students and staff
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as needed
• Support health screenings and maintain accurate health records
• Communicate with families regarding student health concerns
• Collaborate with school teams to support student well-being across grade levels
