Job Description
Exciting opportunities await for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists seeking contract roles within supportive school environments. Multiple roles are available for the upcoming academic year, providing essential services to students across several sites. These are in-person assignments providing flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact, supporting both general education and specialized populations.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC, or appropriate Speech-Language Pathology background
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to support a large and varied student caseload
- Competence with assessment and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Active state licensure preferred (but not strictly required by the district)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel between school locations as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students, including those in general education and specialized settings
- Provide coverage and support where student numbers are high, working as supplementary SLP support rather than primary at any single site
- Complete necessary assessments and documentation to assist with workload surges
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to promote student progress
- Travel between assigned school sites, with schedules varying day to day (one school per day)
- Work full-time hours, typically 8:00am to 3:00 or 3:30 pm, depending on assignment
