School Psychologist - Orland Park, IL

Make a meaningful impact supporting K-8 students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic and collaborative educational environment near Orland Park, IL. This in-person contract position offers the opportunity to connect directly with students, educators, and families, working across two engaging school locations while serving a well-balanced caseload of 60 scholars.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
• Active, valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement
• At least two years of school-based experience
• Demonstrated commitment to core educational values and student-centered success
• Persistent dedication to supporting each child’s academic and social-emotional growth
• Proven knowledge of compliance standards including special education, 504, and MTSS requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Prevent, assess, identify, and address barriers to student learning, ensuring every scholar can thrive academically and socially
• Serve as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams (SPED, 504, MTSS), contributing to scholar screenings, evaluations, and the development and implementation of individualized plans
• Lead MTSS interventions, monitor progress for Tier 3 students, and consult on system improvements
• Prepare professional documentation, fulfilling all compliance timelines and supporting meetings for eligibility, annual reviews, and check-ins
• Maintain detailed service records, collaboration logs, and progress data while upholding confidentiality standards
• Stay current with best practices in psychology and share relevant insights through professional development and team collaboration
• Communicate proactively with families and school partners, building trusting relationships and promoting understanding of developmental needs
• Model alignment with regulatory and organizational guidelines to ensure high-quality service delivery
