Job Description
Provide expert pharmacy services as a Long Term Care Pharmacist within a specialty pharmacy setting. This travel opportunity offers a 13+ week assignment in Waseca, MN, designed for professionals seeking a flexible work schedule with meaningful impact on patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage prescriptions and medication therapy for long term care patients
- Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to optimize medication outcomes
- Administer immunizations and provide patient education as needed
- Monitor patient medication profiles and intervene to resolve issues
Schedule & Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Some weekend shifts required
- Approximately 20-30 hours per week
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- PharmD degree or equivalent pharmacy credentials
- Certification in Immunization Delivery preferred
- CPR Certification required
- Experience or certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) is a plus
- Previous long term care pharmacy experience highly desirable
