OB/GYN Generalist
Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Generalist to become part of a thriving practice. This team consists of seven board-certified or eligible OB/GYN physicians, eight certified nurse midwives, two advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), and one physician assistant (PA), all supported by a dedicated administrative team.
The selected physician will engage with patients in the clinic for 1-2 days each week and will undertake 12-hour inpatient shifts for obstetrics, with a call schedule of 1:8. We utilize a nocturnist model, which is backed by two physicians.
For those interested, there are leadership roles available, and this position includes an academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College.
Our group serves a busy community hospital, delivering comprehensive obstetrics, gynecology, and midwifery services. We operate a 24/7 Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Hospitalist service for patients in the Bedford and Manchester areas of New Hampshire, performing around 800 deliveries annually, complemented by an integrated midwifery service.
At our Women’s Health Center, we focus on collaborative care involving physicians, CNMs, APRNs, PAs, genetic counselors, and subspecialists from Dartmouth Health, all within a single office. This setup allows us to provide extensive obstetrics, gynecology, and midwifery services, complete with on-site imaging and access to OBGYN subspecialists.

Required Licensure/Certifications:Current New Hampshire Medical License.
Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification (to be obtained within five years).
Active membership on hospital staff.
