We are on the lookout for a motivated and seasoned Regional Director of Urogynecology to spearhead and expand our growing urogynecology program throughout Southeast Michigan. This is a distinctive leadership role for a physician dedicated to enhancing patient care, developing high-performing teams, and shaping a burgeoning service line.

This position is pivotal in establishing program structure, ensuring clinical excellence, and formulating long-term strategies while also maintaining a clinical practice.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a medical degree (MD or DO)
  • Fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery or Urogynecology
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Proven leadership experience or a strong interest in physician leadership and program development
  • DEA license
  • ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Leadership Responsibilities and Impact

As the Regional Director, your role will include:

  • Providing clinical and strategic leadership for the urogynecology program across various locations
  • Collaborating in a dyad leadership model with the Urogynecology Program Manager to ensure operational and clinical success
  • Driving the development and growth of a new and evolving program structure
  • Establishing and standardizing:
    • Clinical protocols and care pathways
    • Best practices across different sites
    • Program workflows and operational efficiencies
  • Supporting provider recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship
  • Encouraging a collaborative, patient-centered culture within the care team
  • Guiding quality, performance, and patient experience initiatives
  • Acting as a key contributor in strategic planning and service line expansion

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will also:

  • Assess and manage a comprehensive range of pelvic floor disorders
  • Perform advanced surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques
  • Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team
  • Engage in teaching, mentoring, and research opportunities as desired
