Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Total Joint/Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgeon to enhance our expanding orthopedic team. We seek a dedicated surgeon who is enthusiastic about complex primary and revision joint arthroplasty, committed to achieving outstanding patient outcomes, and eager to work in a collaborative environment.
With a robust system infrastructure, dedicated operating room access, and strong support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), you will have all the resources necessary to cultivate a successful practice.
Key Responsibilities- Play a pivotal role in establishing, developing, and refining a high-performing adult reconstruction program.
- Benefit from a large regional draw and an established referral network, providing immediate access to a diverse range of cases.
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiology, hospitalists, primary care providers, and rehabilitation teams to ensure optimal outcomes for joint replacement patients.
- Enjoy a predictable schedule, strong support, and a collaborative call model that promotes both personal and professional growth.
- Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty is preferred.
- Ability to secure medical licenses in Iowa and Illinois.
- A strong clinical and surgical skill set, with a passion for total joints and revision procedures.
- Open to both recent graduates and experienced surgeons.
- Level III Trauma Center.
- Shared evening and weekend call schedule (1:8).
- Relocation assistance available up to $15,000.
