This position qualifies for a $10,000.00 commitment incentive, paid in six (6) installments over three (3) years work commitment.

\nUNC Health Pardee is a not-for-profit health care system that was founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health Care. It is the first hospital in the Carolinas to be accredited with the International Organization for Standardization for quality health care standards.
\nWe are a licensed for 222 acute care beds and are the second-largest employer in Henderson County. We have several locations separate from our main campus, including a comprehensive physician practice network, multiple urgent care locations and five orthopedic clinics.
\nWORKING SCHEDULE
\nThe practitioner will normally work rotating 12-24 hour shifts to include weekend assignments and night call. An average of 40 hours/week duty time will be maintained over any given scheduling period. Working schedule may be changed as clinical needs dictate.
\nWe offer a competitive base salary with potential incentive.
\nSummary:
\nA Nurse Practitioner functions as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in accordance with privileges approved by the credentialing committee to provide high quality, cost effective care to patients within the APPs scope of practice in collaboration with a supervising physician. The APP reflects the mission, vision, and values of the organization, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements:
\n Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (NNP) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
\n Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina.
\n Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
Professional Experience Requirements:
\n No prior experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
\n Demonstrated clinical competency.
\n Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
\n Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
\n Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
\n Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
\n Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing
