Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students one day a week as a Physical Therapist in a school setting. Work closely with a caseload of approximately eight students, collaborating with educators and families to promote student success through your expertise. This position starts on August 10, 2026, and follows a schedule from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM, providing a consistent and manageable workload.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid PT license and credentials for school-based practice
- Experience providing physical therapy services in schools preferred
- Medicaid NCI number required
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered approaches
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Must successfully complete a background check
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions to support student participation and achievement
- Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and set measurable goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school, state, and Medicaid requirements
- Contribute to IEP meetings, progress reports, and team discussions
