Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Tempe, AZ

Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication growth as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working in a school-based setting near Tempe, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced SLPs as well as those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to collaborate with dedicated educators and help meet the diverse needs of a pediatric population.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current or in-progress Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
• Valid licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Arizona (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience providing speech, language, and communication interventions to school-aged children or adolescents
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective school and family collaboration
• Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and school environments
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting
• Develop and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions for students from diverse backgrounds
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based service planning
• Provide consultation to families and staff to maximize student learning and engagement
